T-Shirts To Go
MB Creative approached CCM to produce an online presence for them. The site had to be interactive in nature in order to allow the users of the site to design and order their own t-shirts. It also had to load FAST!
Using Shopcreator to host the site and handle payments was an easy choice to make but left us with an interesting problem to solve. How to get the content (presently served up in Tag Soup from Coldfusion) out of shopcreator and into the Flash t-shirt designer...
Working closely with Peter Maude at Technology Convergence I carefully chipped away at the templates until we were left with nice, clean XML ready for consumption by the Flash movie.
With all the data Peter needed flowing freely from Shopcreator, I moved on and produced the rest of what proved to be a very challenging site from a CSS point of view as it was graphically very heavy but needed to be Search Engine friendly and quick to load. I'm very happy with the results!
